Hello from the Ainsoft Edge LTD team!
If you've been using our apps—especially Ains Examination Portal—you may have noticed the links point to accounts under personal/individual developer profiles:
These started as quick, efficient ways to get the app into your hands while we focused on building great features for schools, exam management, and student portals across Nigeria.
But as we've grown (thanks to your trust and feedback!), we're taking an important next step to make everything more professional, reliable, and future-proof.
Both Microsoft and Google now strongly encourage (and in many cases require) organization/business developer accounts for companies publishing apps—especially when serving real users like schools, educators, and businesses.
To switch from an individual account to a full business/organization account, one of the key requirements is obtaining a D-U-N-S® Number from Dun & Bradstreet. This is a free (or low-cost) unique 9-digit identifier that verifies legitimate businesses worldwide. It's like an official "business passport" used by major platforms to confirm your company details.
Once we have our D-U-N-S Number:
We're actively applying for our D-U-N-S Number right now (March 2026). The process usually takes a few weeks, depending on verification.
We'll keep you posted here on the blog:
In the meantime, if you're using Ains Examination Portal (or any of our tools), thank you for being part of our journey. Your feedback drives us—feel free to reach out at support@ainssoft.com with questions, suggestions, or just to say hi.
We're excited about this step. It’s all about building a stronger, more professional foundation so we can keep delivering affordable, high-quality education and business software for Nigeria and beyond.
Stay tuned—bigger things ahead! 🚀
